Below is a typical 3-year Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship Schedule.

These may be adjusted within ACGME requirements based on the interests of the fellow and pursuit of additional degrees. 

Year 1

  • Rheumatology Outpatient: 24 weeks 
  • Allergy/Immunology: 4 weeks
  • Nephrology: 4 weeks
  • Pulmonary: 4 weeks 
  • Research: 8 weeks 
  • Elective: 4 weeks 

Year 2

  • Rheumatology Outpatient: 12 weeks
  • Radiology: 4 weeks
  • Ophthalmology: 4 weeks
  • Nephrology: 4 weeks
  • Rheumatology: 4 weeks
  • Infectious Disease: 4 weeks
  • Research: 16 weeks
  • Elective: 4 weeks

Year 3

  • Rheumatology Outpatient: 20 weeks
  • Research: 24 weeks
  • Elective: 4 weeks

Electives

Adult Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology, Dermatology, Genetics, Sports Medicine, Orthopedics and Spine.
