Welcome
The Child Neurology Residency at the University of Iowa is a five-year ACGME-accredited program.
Our program trains clinically excellent Child Neurologists with the range of knowledge and experience that will allow them to excel in the next phase of their careers, whether that involves further training and specialization or the practice of general child neurology.
We offer exposure to a wide variety of clinical problems with in-depth experience in our strong resident Continuity of Care Clinics—residents keep even the most challenging patients with the flexibility to have different faculty staffing individual patients.
Information specific to the Child Neurology training program requirements may be found at the ACGME's Neurology Residency Review Committee (RCC).
